Casting for the full feature psychological thriller, “Panic”. We need actors for a few speaking roles, but mainly extras. The extras do hold a very important part to the film and will be exposed. Auditions and shooting will take place in the Oakland County area. The audition will be held in about a week, but exact dates are still being determined.

Plot:

Its a psychological thriller about two boys who come across a body and try to solve the crime by themselves, but problems occur. Its going to take place in the 50s.

Available Roles:

• Paper Boy: Male, ages 9-14

• Roller Skater: Female, ages 18-24

• Mailman: Male, ages 35-55

• Nurses: Female, ages 24-35

• Extras: Men and women and depending on there looks and experience, we’ll provide the roles to fill.

Compensation:

This is not payed unless the film makes money. This is an opportunity for all who are a part of it and you receive a demo reel, possible IMDB credit, and will have beverages and snacks on set. You will also receive a copy of the film.

Casting a lead female actor for the action/adventure feature film, “The Stone Sisters in Quest of the Israelites”. Auditions will be held on April 1st-13th in Oakland County, MI.

Synopsis:

Rachel and Julie Stone are world-renowned treasure seekers and protectors. Their late father taught them to fight for what is right and to protect history. However, this does not mean the girls get along. One is a fighter and independent, the other a beautiful brainiac with a sense of style. Lately it is becoming harder for them to work together. A mission from their old mentor forces them back together to find the sword of Joshua, leader of the Israelites. This mystery leads them on a quest to discover what really happened to their father and their own destinies. Filled with dangers, booby traps, mercenaries, and power struggles the Stone sisters must come together or perish.

Available Roles:

• Julie “Jules” Stone (lead role): (Olive/tan skinned, brown hair, 5ft to 5ft 6in, 18-24 years old, dresses very fashionably) Jules is the brains of the family operation. She graduated from the University of Chicago with a graduate in archaeology and is widely regarded as one of the up and coming members in the field. Her work follows in her father’s footsteps of preserving historical artifacts and consulting museums around the world. She is super intelligent but when it comes to the regular world she is sometimes naive. She loved seeing the world with her family, and immediately embraced the socialite lifestyle and all its perks. She is all about dressing fashionably and at times can be very girly. This frustrates her sister to no end. She often sides with her mother that Rae needs to find a man to tame her, but Jules also suffers her mother’s nagging since she has not had much more success in love than Rae.

Compensation:

Currently this is a non-paid role, but will give a hungry young actress with a lead role on her resume.

Entrepreneur, MSU Spartan and NBA Hall of Famer Earvin “Magic” Johnson is set to launch ASPIRE, a new Comcast Cable network designed to entertain, inform and inspire in June 2012.

JR Galactic Productions is working with the network producers to cast and shoot a series of promotional videos that highlight motivated, young Michigan residents doing what they love and making their dreams a reality.

The casting call will be held on Friday, March 30th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Detroit. This will be a 15 day shoot in various locations in and around the Detroit area.

Casting African American Actors for Movie

Casting male and female actors for the short comedy movie, “Uncle Switch”.  Shooting is scheduled to take place in metro Detroit.

Plot:

Uncle Switch is about April, a freshman at Harvard who comes home to visit her family and bring a surprise… Her new boyfriend. Everyone is looking forward to meeting him; Mom, Uncle Nate and especially April’s Uncle Switch, who has a split personality of a cool calm and collective loving Uncle one minute and his other half a militant, ex-con war veteran the next.

Available Roles:

• Mom: African American, motherly, female, late 20′s to early 30′s

• Uncle Nate: African American, male, cool laid back personality, age 23+

• April: African American, female, high energy, intellectual, beautiful, ages 18 to 20

Auditions and Casting for Additional Role

SAG TV Series Formerly Cloud 9, now Spunky Airlines, is looking to cast an additional role for season 1. Audition will be held on Saturday, March 31st, 2012 from 10:00am to 3:00pm in Burton, MI. Strong actors only please, SAG preferred. Shooting will take place on weekends (Sat and Sun) from April 21st until mid August (tentatively).

Plot:

Spunky Airlines is a sexy 30 minute comedy about 6 airline employees that work at Spunky Airlines, a dysfunctional airport that uses satire to keep the audience soaring with laughs from take-off to landing.
