Casting Call for Actors and Actresses

Blue Water Film is looking for talent for an upcoming video shoot. These are not speaking roles. Actors will not be delivering lines. Shooting will take place at Detroit Metro Airport on May 22nd and May 23rd. A second shoot location may also be planned.

The shoot is a non-commercial industrial shoot; the actors will be traveling through the airport and having visions of management solutions appear before them as they all hurry to catch a departing flight.

Available Roles:

• 3-4 Extras: Male and female, ages 30-45. African American, Asian, Latino and Caucasian. Talent should have good facial reactions. Each person will be thinking of a unique problem and seeing a unique solution appear as the walk through the concourse.

Compensation:

These are paid roles. Talent will be paid a day rate.

Auditions for Lead and Supporting Roles

“Consideration” is a feature-length independent drama that will be released on the festival circuit in 2013. The film will be directed by V. Prasad (screenwriter of “Ocean of Pearls”) and shot by Victor Fanucchi (director of “Art House”). They are currently casting actors for an August 2012 shoot in Ann Arbor and the surrounding areas.

Storyline:

Underemployed and living with her parents, a law school grad enters into an arrangement with a wealthy older man to pay off her mounting student loan debt.

Available Roles:

• [JESSICA HARIS – LEAD ROLE] Early to Mid 20s. , Jessica’s in every scene. Attractive (enough to draw the attention of men) and intelligent (enough to graduate from law school), Jessica is also a bit guarded. Although, she would call it being pragmatic.
• [HENRY MCCOMB] Late 40s to Early 50s. Divorced and wealthy, Henry is the kind of person who does a cost-benefit analysis on everything, including relationships. He is looking for an arrangement that provides more intellectual stimulation then he would get from an escort, but without the emotional attachment of girlfriend.

Compensation:

Unpaid for Non-Union; $100/day for SAG

Folly Films Entertainment Casting Call

Folly Films Entertainment is casting 11 roles for the short thriller, “Happy Birthday”. Lead and supporting roles are available. The director, Mike N. Kelly, has had awards winning shorts locally and scripts have won awards in LA. Shooting is scheduled to take place in Ann Arbor on Saturdays and Sundays May 19 and 20th, and June 9th and 10th. These will be night shoots. Call time 5pm. Wrap 5am.

• Tony: Lead role. (Male, any age, open ethnicity) Fun, charismatic. Disabled/wheelchair.
• Peggy: (Female, ages 41-50, open ethnicity) Troubled. Looks for guidance. Needs to stand up for herself.
• Samantha: (Female, ages 25-30, open ethnicity) Call girl/stripper that comes to party. No nudity. No stripping. She is a wedge between husband and wife at party. Creates jealously. Age 20-30
• Jim: (Male, ages 31-40, open ethnicity) Fun party-goer. Gossip.
• Mandy: (Female, ages 31-40, open ethnicity) Jim’s girlfriend. Pretty.
• Woman 1: (Female, ages 30-45, open ethnicity) Gossip. Bold. Flirt.

• Clarrisa: (Female, ages 41-50, open ethnicity) A psychic. Earthy. Grounded. Philosophical.

Casting actors and actresses for the full feature psychological thriller, “Panic”.  Auditions and shooting will take place in the Oakland County area. The audition dates are still being determined.

Plot:

The films a psychological thriller about two boys that come across their mothers death. Its going to take place in the 50s.

Compensation:
