YEA: Movie Audition

This is a movie being produced by a student, her second one too!  This is a great opportunity to be a part of a movie and see first hand how to produce a film at the same time.  Watch Carolann put together her production together and get out into the film world.  This project will be a lot of fun to work on and will will get lots of media attention when done!  We will be planning a BIG premier!  So COOL!

Our own talent, Miss Carolann Plank, is producing her own short film movie (I think this is being submitted to go into a film competition).  She has asked if she can use our facility for her auditions and some filming.

Auditions will take place all next week.

Paying for EXPERIENCED models, promotional model accepted as well for experience.  YEA & Client will review RESUME and AUDITION, this will determine if your a paying model or not. Client has final say!

All models MUST register with YEA before the audition to be in the audition.  All talent must be represented by an agent to even be considered for pay.

YEA: Runway Hair Fashion Show – Jan. 26, 2014

Auditions are being held right now for an upcoming Hair Show in Southfield, Michigan. Artistry of Hair Salon is looking for female models, 5′ 5″ in height, has a professional walk and appearance, age 16 and above, all cultures, all sizes including plus sizes.  Currently in need of blondes and brunettes with long hair. The client is offering a photo shoot, a video, full hair and makeup, and a complementary salon session for the future.  This is a beautiful and fun event to be in.

We are looking for models for our yearly Bridal Shows taking place at the Suburban Showplace Collection Feb 15/16th

Jenna in White is looking for female models, age 15 and up, 5′ 4″ and above ONLY, sizes 2, 4. 6. 8, Plus sizes 16, 18, 20! They are looking for more of our professionals because of the dresses and is willing to pay for the models as well.  One or two models might be chosen for a paid advertising campaign, only through YEA, that they are looking to do in the real near future.  This is definitely worth auditioning for, the gowns are one of a kind and BEAUTIFUL and will be in all the up coming bridal magazines according to the owner!  This could be U!!  Your resume and experience will determine pay and will be very important for this client.

Project Description:

“Still” is the story of two high school friends, one who is imaginary. The two cope with adolescence and struggle to find identity in different ways amid death, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. 20 minutes; drama.

Principal Character Descriptions:

JEMINA (LEAD) – Late teens. Jemina is an imaginary friend, but more real than she seems. Mature, but confused and angry about her place in the world, she longs to be heard and to live more than just vicariously through Dimitri.

DIMITRI ARTHUR(LEAD) – Late teens. Dimitri is a high school student who has grown up under judgmental eyes, as he never outgrew his imaginary friend. Frustrated and sarcastic, he struggles to accept his social isolation and is, as a result, vulnerable to the influence of others.

VIOLET ARTHUR (SUPPORTING) – Late 30s/Early 40s. Dimitri’s mother. Compassionate, but heartbroken, she feels helpless for her son and spends most of her time trying to keep her family afloat despite being a widow.

ROBBY CELIS (SUPPORTING) – Late teens. Self-centered and manipulative, Robby becomes Dimitri’s first “real friend”, and puts him in positions he never thought he’d be in.

YOUNG JEMINA – Roughly 6 years old. Sweet, but quiet.

YOUNG DIMITRI – Roughly 6 years old. Loyal and imaginative.

TAYLOR MACAVOY (SUPPORTING) – Late teens. Robby’s wealthy and shallow friend.

JOEL (SUPPORTING) – Late 30s/Early 40s. Violet’s jealous and abusive husband and Dimitri’s stepfather.
