Delasha Entertainment will be holding a casting call for the indie film “The First Fam”. The casting call will be held on January 21st from 12pm-3pm at the Arthur Lesow Community Center located at 120 Eastchester Monroe, Michigan 48161.

Plot:

A unique american story about the strained relationship between the first African American President, Denzel James and his 15 year old aspiring rapper son, Jamal.

Available Roles:

• Jamal James (the first son): African American male between the ages of 14-16. Must be able to write & perform original rap lyrics.
• Kathrine Kneel (Press Secretary): Open ethnicity, ages 25-40. Must be very well-spoken & attractive.
• (10) Secret Service Agents: 7 males, 3 females. Open ethnicity, ages 25-40. Must be fit.
• Two White House Guards: Male, open ethnicity, ages 20-40. Must have access to a marine uniform.
• Alex Williams (CNN White House Correspondent): Well spoken, clean-cut African American male between the ages of 25-40.
• Jamal’s Rap Group Members (Ralow, B-Nice, & Kyrun): Male, African American, ages 14-16. Must be able to write & perform rap lyrics.
• Benny-J (White House Barber and President’s Wise-crackin’ Nephew): Male, African American, ages 25-40. Must be comical.
• Executive Assistant to the President: Open ethnicity, ages 45+

Imminent Entertainment Casting & Crew Call

We are currently seeking two producers and other crew members for “Boomtowns”. We are also looking to cast 2 males actors for the lead roles. “Boomtowns” is the 4th feature film by Imminent Entertainment. The script was written by Jason Slingerland and he will also direct the film. The film will shoot in May and June of 2012.

Rehearsals for the film will begin in January and continue through production. In January 2012 the main cast will have the opportunity to record a studio album of music to be used in the film.

Synopsis:

Boomtowns tell the story of a folk trio who travels around Michigan living the Bohemian life out of their car while playing shows to support themselves. Things take an interesting turn when their car breaks down and they decide to spend the summer playing shows and living on Mackinac Island.

Available Roles:

• 2 Actors: (Lead roles) Male, age 18-30. Musicians/Actors encouraged to apply. Talent must people able to sing in an folk/acoustic style. Auditions will require singing. Ability to play guitar or bass is a plus, but not required.

Available Positions:

• 2 Producers: Experienced in line producing and fundraising.
• We are also seeking a variety of other crew positions.

Compensation:

All payment for this project will be on a deferred basis. However, lodging, travel and food will all be covered by Imminent Entertainment.

Casting Call for Lead Talent

The Detroit-based exercise equipment company called The Burn Machine is looking to cast actors. They are shooting their latest exercise reference poster at the Russell Industrial Center in Detroit sometime throughout next week, and are interested in featuring someone as their lead male & female talent. You will be demonstrating different exercises using equipment, and also featured for potential placement on the actual product box itself.

Professional photographer Robert Stewart will be behind the lens, known for working with Channel 7 WXYZ talent and two-time Mr. Universe Peter Nielsen and all together shouldn’t last longer than 4 hours.

Compensation:

These are paid roles. Talent will be paid $300 for the day. Shouldn’t take longer than 3-4 hours.
