Casting Call for Actors & Actresses

Delasha Media Group is currently casting for the indie film “The First Fam”. Filming will begin in the Spring. Most will be shot in Detroit Metro area & 1 in Lansing on the weekends.

Plot:

A unique American story about the strained relationship between the first African American President, Denzel James and his 15 year old aspiring rapper son, Jamal.

Available Roles:

  • THE PRESIDENT, Denzel James: African American Male, Very well spoken, Well groomed. Ages 35-45. Very well spoken with “Obama Swag”.

  • Kathrine Kneel (Press Secretary): Open ethnicity, ages 25-40. Must be very well-spoken & attractive.

  • (10) Secret Service Agents: 7 males, 3 females. Open ethnicity, ages 25-40. Must be fit.

  • Two White House Guards (Marines): Male, open ethnicity, ages 20-40.

  • (3) CNN White House Correspondents: Well spoken, clean-cut male or female. Open Ethnicity. Accents appreciated but not required. between the ages of 25-40.

  • Jamal’s Rap Group Members (Ralow, B-Nice, & Kyrun): Male, African American, ages 13-16. Must be able to perform rap lyrics!

  • Sylvia: Hispanic female age 9-12. Speaks some basic Spanish. (Pres. Daughters friend in wheelchair)

  • Executive Assistant to the President: Open ethnicity, ages 45+

  • White House Maid: Petite female. Age 60+. Open Ethnicity. Foreign accent preferred.

  • White House Chef: Large Male Open Ethnicity. Age 30+

Compensation:

These are not paid roles. Actors will receive a credit. Meals will be provided.
