Casting Call for Actors
Casting actors for the Grand Valley State University student film, “Ten Pins” which is scheduled to film on November 18th, 19th and 20th. Auditions will be held in the University Club in the Devos Building of GVSU’s Grand Rapids campus on Friday, October 7th from 5:00pm – 9:00pm and Saturday, October 8th from 2:00pm – 6:00pm.
Synopsis
Ten Pins is a fun family short film about Sophie, a young girl who is desperately looking forward to visiting Grandma during the holidays. Unfortunately, the family car breaks down and money is tight. Sophie enters a children’s bowling tournament help her mom raise money, finding help from a crotchety old bowling pro.
Available Roles:
- SOPHIE: Lead role. Young female, Second grade. Sassy and adventurous, but impatient.
- MUNCH: Female, 3-5. Sophie’s helpful little sister, often lost in her own little world.
- MOM: Late 20s-early 30s. Frazzled single mother who has to balance work and raising children.
- SAM: Male, Late 50s+. Retired pro bowler, grumpy, but with a kind heart.
