Olivia Salerno

I have been training in dance and performing on a stage since the age of 3 when I took my first dance class at a local dance studio. My love of dance has allowed me many years of performing on variety of platforms. I danced at the NBA Detroit Pistons games for 9 seasons as a member of Pistons Entertainment and currently, I am the Assistant Director for the Detroit Pistons Minis dance crew. Besides dancing on the court, some of the other roles I have participated in with the Pistons organization are “One on One with Olivia”, Fan events, and interview segments on Fox Sports Detroit. My dance-related projects include dancing in Pharrell’s "Happy" Music Video and Sia's "The Greatest" Music Video, touring with Macy's Glamorama with Jason Derulo, and being selected as a background dancer for a Justin Bieber Purpose Tour concert in Detroit. In 2016 and 2017, I was cast as a Shorties Dance Crew Member on a SpikeTV’s Special and Nickelodeon’s first season of Lip Sync Battle Shorties. Some of my other interests involve creating dance choreography for local charity events and music videos, and voice-over opportunities, including a Detroit Children’s Choir event I choreographed and some audio book projects. Most recently, I had the honor to be a part of XQ’s televised special called “Graduate Together” for the Class of 2020. I am very excited to continue to pursue and fulfill my dreams in the Entertainment Industry while studying computer science in college! Thank you!
