Actors and Actresses Needed for a Documentary…
Saturday August 10th NGP will be shooting two re-enactment scenes for the documentary “We Too Are Michigan.” This documentary is an educational piece that the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History has commissioned NGP to produce for high school students in districts outside of the metropolitan urban area.
We are looking for African American and White American actors and actresses ages 15-75 years old. The first re-enactment is an abduction scene from 12pm – 3pm, the second re-enactment is a Slave Auction from 4pm – 9pm both at the Charles H. Wright Museum. Actors will receive credit for their participation, no monetary compensation will be given.
No inflammatory language will be used, white actors and actresses will simply bid as they would for an auction.
For more information and to register email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information: Name, Age, Ethnicity, Phone Number, and Photo (optional).
This documentary is about the African American experience during enslavement, civil rights, civil war, and current day.
