Casting Call for Feature Length Film

Weather Eye Productions and Global Pictures (Corner Store) will be holding a casting call for the feature film, “It Happened On A Monday”. The casting call will be held on Friday, March 30th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Detroit. This will be a 15 day shoot in various locations in and around the Detroit area.

Available Roles:

• Darren Simmons: (Lead role) Male, African American, ages 17-22 – High school aged

• Cassandra Clemmens: (Lead role) Female, Caucasian, ages 17-22 – High school aged

• Ms. Hernandez (Teacher): (Supporting role) Female, Caucasian/Latin, ages 35-50

• Ms / Mr. Andrerson (Teacher): (Supporting role) Female, open ethnicity, ages 35-50

• Sasha: (Supporting role) Female, open ethnicity, ages 17-22 – High school aged

• Principal Gilroy: (Supporting role) Male or female, African American, ages 45-60

• Mayor Brown: (Supporting role) Male or female, open ethnicity, ages 45-60

• Students: (Extras) Male or female, open ethnicity, ages 14-22

• Teachers: (Extras) Male or female, open ethnicity, ages 35-60

Compensation:

This film is an independent feature and will be unpaid work you will however receive a reel for your demo and credit in the film.
