Casting a lead actor for the feature film, “Amerikan Violence”. This is a gritty detroit scene type of movie. Amerikan Violence” will be shooting for the next 3 months in Royal Oak, MI.

• Jester: (male 5′-9″ and taller, caucasian) He is 1 of 4 lead characters in this movie. Jester would be best looked at as white trash and evil.

Compensation:

Non-deferred payment. We are definitely wanting to pay everyone a good amount of money but we won’t know until the film is completed and pushed out to dvd and possibly theaters. This film has already been looked at and offered a deal from Lions Gate.

The Right Doc Casting Call

The Right Doc is currently casting actors and actresses of all ages throughout Michigan for roles in physician introduction/biography videos. These videos will be used on their website and will help introduce patients to physicians prior to choosing a health care provider.

These roles are great for beginners or those wishing to build their reel. There are both speaking and non-speaking roles available. They will be filming these videos at different medical facilities throughout Michigan this summer. Cities that are confirmed right now are Detroit, Grand Rapids, Troy, Sterling Heights, Lansing and Ann Arbor. Talent will only need to be available for one location.

Talent and Crew Needed for TV Series – Epyon Productions

Epyon Productions is looking for cast and crew for the television series, “The Union: Notes from the Underground”. Auditions are being held on May 6th on Troy, MI. Principal photography planned for June 2011 in Southeast Michigan.

Plot:

A crime story set in the rusted great city of Detroit as three crime families plot against one another to gain control of the city. The Galdwin’s, steep in old world Italian traditions, who through the years are now just a shadow of their former greatness. Now led by Stella Galdwin, the granddaughter of the great visionary crime-boss Adama Galdwin, she seeks to restore her family legacy and move the family into the 21st century no matter the costs. In the city, two gangs battle for control of the streets, Joseph “King” Leo and his two sons, Damon and Redball are on the edge of war with their former allies Marco and Donna Paige. Meanwhile, London Clark, a former US army Ranger now a Galdwin enforcer with his partner Claire, and computer expert Sands must hunt for a former Mossad agent, Milla Grey. Milla and her mysterious employer slowly emerge to become a major factor in the city. A player who may have deeper roots in Detroit’s past then anyone can imagine. Loyalty will be tested, bonds broken, but at the end of the day their can be one at the very top of Detroit.

• Damon Giles: Mid to late twenties. Oldest son of the biggest gang-lord in Detroit, Joseph ‘King’ Leo. Damon has tried to leave the life by enlisting in the army. However, the family business came calling back.

• Joey Galdwin: Late to early thirties. One of Stella’s oldest cousin, Joey comes from a very old school Italian family steep in traditions. Nonetheless, Joey believe Stella maybe able to bring the family back to its former glory.

• Claire Martin: Mid to late twenties. Stella’s Father, Kaden Galdwin, found her living on the streets at a young age and brought her home. Raised side by side with Stella and her younger sister. Claire, under Kaden’s eyes became his personal bodyguard and enforcer.

• Councilman William Rice: Early to late thirties. Former Detroit beat cop who wanted to make a different in his native city. However scandal with city hall changed that, forcing Rice to run for office to make real change. Rice maybe idealistic, but he does understand that the city works in shades of grey.
