Synopsis:

In the sleepy town of Crinklewood Boris Gunther spends his nights collecting and protecting the dreams of all who sleep there. When a nightmare escapes one night Boris, with the help from a young girl, must track down and destroy the nightmare before the citizens dreams are lost forever.

Available Roles:

• Boris Gunther: Mid 30’s muscular skinny. Boris is a man who takes precise and straightforward. A man who knows his job. He doesn’t really relate to anyone,as he spends time alone.

• Hope: Preteen around 9-12 white hair (wig or otherwise) A young girl who dreams big and dreams often,has the wide innocence of a younger child,and doesn’t really relate well with anyone.

• Edgar Gunther: Early to late thirties. Edgar is usually an upbeat individual but due to the circumstances he has been rather grim.

• Mayor Goldbloom: Mid 20’s or 30’s. A straight to it politician, if something affects his ratings he is going to do something about it, but at the same time he cares about the people of his town.

• The Figure: Tall and lanky villain, male

Synopsis:

A meek real estate agent forced into attending a motivational seminar takes a wrong turn and ends up in stuntman school.

Available Roles:

• CHARLIE BARLOW: Mid-20’s, male. awkward wimp.

• ANNE: Mid 20’s female,beautiful and dangerous.

• MAX STEEL: Mid 40’s-Early 50’s muscular; the epitome of a man’s man. Former stuntman.

NOTE: Roles include dangerous stunts. Actors must be willing to learn/perform dangerous stunts and must be in good physical shape.

Compensation:

Casting Supporting Roles and Extras

Casting male and female actors to fill supporting and background roles in the reality based film, “Detroit Movie”. Auditions will be held in Clinton Township on May 29th. Shooting will take place in metro Detroit in June and July 2011.

“Detroit Movie” is a reality based film Directed by Mike Saliba that gives potential talent and their personalities a chance to help shape and build the development of the fictional character. The film is unscripted determining the actors & actress performances will be Improvisation based. Still they will be directed before and during filming, plus must be available for at least 5 full days (non-consecutive).

Audition Details:

Date: Sunday, May 29th in Clinton Township, MI
Filmed: Yes. The Footage of the auditions will then be incorporated into the film for chosen cast members. Be prepared to tell us a 2-4 minute “real life” story about yourself.

Mantis and Moon Moving Pictures and Sound Auditions

Mantis and Moon is currently casting for a full length feature film to be shot in Sylvania Ohio/Bogota Colombia. Sylvania is very near the border between Michigan and Ohio. Auditions will be held on May31st and June 1st.

Audition Details:

Auditions will be held at the Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce (5632 N. Main St, Sylvania Ohio 43560). Park in the parking lots behind the row of buildings in which the chamber is located. The parking lot is basically directly across from the Rite-Aide on the corner of Monroe and Summit street.

Synopsis:

The story of The Society is built on two sub themes, one a hard hitting legal battle over a company’s broken promise, the other a love story between a North American man and South American woman. The legal drama unfolds, from the corporate promises made to an eager 25 year old, through the range of emotions that come, with the disappointment, of being let down by those that you believed in and trusted at the age of 45.

The two stories become entangled as the two lovers struggle with the social, cultural, and theological differences separating them. How they endure, learn, and rise above those differences brings out the love story.The love story tempers the legal drama, and the legal drama validates the love story. As the lines, which have become increasingly blurred, separating, right from wrong, justice from corruption, become more and more clear, their unfaltering love finds its way.

Dragon Pictures Extras Casting

Seed Time and Harvest Productions Casting

Seed Time and Harvest Productions (STH) is looking to cast an additional role for the stageplay “So Help Me God”.

Story Line:

Two long lost brothers, who struggle to find their purpose in life are reunited under terrible circumstances. One being a down on his luck lawyer who has never won a case, and one being a brother who has just been charged with murder. Jason Thompson, the lawyer, agrees to represent him after finding out there is no one else that will. Many twist and turns ensue and many characters will sway them in different directions along the way. They both go on a quest for the truth, even if it is a truth they both do not want to except. Along the way, they find out more about their family, about each other, and about themselves.

An open casting call and audition is being held for the short film, “The Chain of Love”. Auditions will be held in June and the Actors Loft in Royal Oak, MI.

The Chain of Love is a short drama about love that mirrors life. The Chain assumes that if one person helps another without expecting anything, in return, that individual would receive a favor, in a manner that is least expected. This story reminds us the importance of paying it forward.

Casting Tons of Zombies for Feature Length Film

Casting actors to play a zombie in the feature length horror/comedy movie, “Detention of the Dead”. The shoot will take place Friday, May 20th and Saturday, May 21st in Pontiac, MI.

Available Roles:

• Zombie Extras: Casting as many zombie extras as we can get! We are looking for people who look like they could be in high school as well as adults who could play zombie teachers. (18+ years of age, unless you bring a parent)

Compensation:

These roles are not paid but we will have special effects makeup artists on hand to zombify everyone so it will be a really cool and fun experience.

Open Call for “Oz” Extras – Saturday, June 11th

The open casting call for extras in “Oz: The Great and Powerful” will be held on Saturday June 11th from 11:00am – 4:00pm in Pontiac, MI. The open call is totally free to attend. Casting Associates will he handling the casting as will be looking for talent ages 18 and up, of any ethnicities to work as extras on this film.

NOTE: Details on how to submit for under 18 roles will be available soon.

Casting Associates is a Los Angeles based extras casting company. Tracy Dixon and Chris Shefstad are the Casting Directors working on Oz: The Great and Powerful. Also the magnificent associates David Kramer and Joseph Hicks. If you want to meet them in person, all of the extras casting directors will be there and we will be giving out some bookings at the open call.
