Based on the film “Some Like It Hot,” SUGAR chronicles the zany lives of two musicians, of the prohibition era, who witness a gang slaying. Forced to disguise themselves as women, they join an all-female orchestra, and the games begin! Memorable musical numbers include Penniless Bums, The Beauty That Drives Men Mad, We Could Be Close, Doin’ It for Sugar, What Do You Give (To a Man Who Has Everything?), Beautiful Through and Through and November Song. This show is both outrageous and touching.

Auditions Notes: Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in for dancing. Bring dance shoes if you own them.

Age is negotiable on the characters.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

*Spats Palazzo – Spats is a tap dancing gangster that dances throughout the show. Tap dancing is not a necessary requirement for this role. We are looking for actors with the eagerness to learn the tap numbers in the show.

1 rehearsal, Saturday, January 3, 10 am – Suburban Showplace – Mandatory
Fittings required, Females only – December 14th, 2014 at 10 am SHARP – noon. (There may be more fittings scheduled depending on number of designers)

You must be willing to work with people daily, introducing them to Christian Dior products and putting your fabulous face forward every time you are there.  You become the face for Christian Dior!  They are very picky on who they chose to work with their organization, so your interview is very important.  They are looking for out going individuals that can show off their products to the fullest.  You will be working for Christian Dior directly from NY.  This also looks great on a resume.
