Casting Call for the Feature Film “Detroit Dream”

Casting a male child actor, mother and female extras for the feature film, “Detroit Dream”. Interview auditions will be held for the Boy and Mother roles on July 13th. Extras do not need to attend a live interview. Filming will take place in Novi, MI on July 25th.

Synopsis:

Tom is a field manager of a large company. He has a beautiful family, a nice home and is proud of his status. But one day he is betrayed by his friend and loses his job.

Tom’s wife, Cathy, tries to support Tom but he just gets drunk every day. At last Cathy gets fed up with Tom and leaves with his daughter, Mary. Tom realizes that even though he had lost his job, he was still happy because he had his family.

While struggling to get back on his feet, Tom remembers his old dream, to be a painter. He starts to pursue his old dream and discovers he must fight to get his family back.

Available Roles:

• Boy: (age 5-8, a few lines) Male

• Boy’s Mother: (age 30-40, a few lines) Female

• Sexy Gals: (age 21-25, no line extra) Female

Compensation:

These are non-paid roles. Will provide your scene’s data. you can use it as your promotion video. Great for new actors/actresses.

NOTE: The deadline to apply is July 9th, 2011. If you’re selected, you will be notified by June 10th. You must have parental permission in order to apply for the role of “Boy”. A parent or guardian must be available and present on the July 13th audition and July 25th shoot.
