An open casting call is being held on November 1st and November 2nd at the . They will be casting for two short films, “The Almost Perfect Crime” and “Shotgun Wedding”.

Available Roles:

THE ALMOST PERFECT CRIME

Synopsis: Four thieves. One night. One diamond. In order to pocket the prize the 4 skilled thieves must outwit and outplay their criminal colleagues.

  • ARTHUR: 25-35 male. Arthur is a suave, classic-style thief. He’s tall with short hair, normal build.

  • CHARLES: 30-40 male. Charles is a pink-panther-style thief. Classy, well mannered and British.

  • NIGEL: 20-30 male. Nigel is the youngest of the four. He’s new to the game, a little green. Lanky build but confidant.

  • ROY: 30-40 male. Roy is a louder, kind of obnoxious thief. The others kind of find him annoying. He’s a master of disguise. Larger build.

  • NAOMI: 20-25 female. Naomi is the daughter of a master thief who is worlds above the rest. Her skill is perfect timing.

SHOTGUN WEDDING

Synopsis: Two families with completely different styles of living come together to force a shotgun wedding. The brides family is liberal and support the wedding, being as the bride is pregnant. The grooms family is a country gentleman style who do not support the wedding. The pastor is stuck in the middle of the whole problem and is being threatened by both sides of the family.

  • MURRAY, Chapel Pastor: Medium height, goofy face, innocent, shaven, middle to low class. AGE: 30-35.

  • ALLEGRA, Bride: Small petite, very thin, dark hair, pale and non threatening almost peaceful. Preferred light complexion. AGE: 18-21.

  • BILLY, Groom: Unassuming, slightly paunched, non-threatening look. AGE: 18-21.

  • WILLIAM, Father of Groom: Tall thin and gauche, beard or stubble, country gentleman, golden/white hair. AGE: 40-45

  • MARTHA, Mother of Bride: Petite thin, (sandra bullock look). Preferred dark hair, similar look to Allegra. AGE: 40-45
